Stevens is a wholesale fabricator and installer of solid surface, quartz surface and natural stone countertops and has a 2 axis waterjet cutting machine in their shop for cutting granite. The machine was being underutilized for traditional cutting and only being used for unique projects. K.G. Stevens felt that the addition of a 5-axis WaterJet cutting machine company was a way to stay on the forefront of cutting edge technology. They knew with the ability to maneuver more than what a duel axis cutting machine could handle, that there would be even more opportunities available to them and for their customers.
There is only a handful of fully operational 5-axis WaterJet cutting machines in the United States.
